Chief HR Officer, Ingredion Incorporated

Elizabeth Adefioye is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Ingredion. In this role, Adefioye overseas all global human resources functions, including talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation and benefits, as well as diversity, inclusion and engagement. Adefioye is committed to delivering people strategies that achieve a high-performance culture by attracting and developing world-class talent and building a high-performing organization. In 2016, Adefioye joined Ingredion as vice president of human resources for North America and global specialties. Before joining Ingredion, Adefioye served in leadership HR roles at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Novartis Consumer Health, Medtronic, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Gianpaolo Barozzi

Senior Director Human Resources, Cisco

Gianpaolo Barozzi is a Sr. Director in Cisco HR, leading the Digitization Office in the newly formed Leadership & Team Intelligence organization. He leads the design and development of innovative workforce experiences, solutions and analytics in multiple HR areas at Cisco. His passion is re-defining the future of work in corporations – how talent is identified, leveraged, allocated and engaged, and how work is organized, measured and rewarded – and its implication on people, HR and ultimately the society. Gianpaolo is based in Milan, Italy, and holds a degree in Physics.

Susan Biancani

Data Science Manager, People Analytics, Airbnb

Susan Biancani is an experienced data scientist, manager, and team leader with a demonstrated history in People Analytics in the tech industry. She brings a strong social science background (PhD in Organizational Sociology from Stanford) and technical expertise (MS in Computer Science, with focus on Artificial Intelligence & Data Management, also from Stanford) to her work. She is currently the Data Science Manager, People Analytics at Airbnb.


Kevin Blair

Former VP Global Talent Acquisition, IBM

Kevin has spent his entire career in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Branding. He has extensive Global experience, building and re-building teams and processes to drive effective delivery across all regions and in many organizational structures. Kevin has led the delivery and attraction of Talent in EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific/Japan regions, managing high-performance delivery teams and driving enhanced experiences for clients, stakeholders, partners and candidates. In his most recent role as Global VP Talent Acquisition at IBM, Kevin is responsible for all hiring, across all divisions of IBM. Annually he is responsible for delivering 50,000 plus new IBMers into the business and giving them a uniquely IBM onboarding experience. Kevin has a Talent leadership team building industry-leading cognitive & AI tools to enhance and speed up the process, candidate engagement approaches and Agile delivery methodologies.

Michael Bland

VP, CLO,  TIAA

Michael Bland is VP and Chief Learning Officer for TIAA, where he is accountable for the strategic vision and tactical execution of Learning and Development across the company. Michael is passionate about the role of technology and innovation in learning and the focus of L&D in preparing talent to deliver improved business results today and into an ever-changing future. Prior to TIAA, Michael spent over 20 years in learning and leadership development roles, working across varied industries, and large and small companies.

Robert Brown

VP, Center for the Future of Work, Cognizant Technology

Robert Brown joined Cognizant’s Center for the Future of Work in 2014. Since that time, he has worked extensively with the Cognizant Digital Operations practice as head of market strategy, and also with Cognizant’s Business Accelerator leadership to drive the development of its intelligent automation strategy, messaging and go-to-market outreach. His research emphasis has been on the topics of robotics, automation, privacy and augmented reality and their impact on business processes. Prior to joining Cognizant, Robert served as a Managing Vice President at Gartner, Inc. both in the US and London. In addition to his career as a strategist and research analyst, his experience has included positions at Hewlett-Packard as well as the British House of Commons.

Sander de Bruijn

Head of Global Employee Experience, ING

Sander de Bruijn joined ING in 2018 as their Head of Global Employee Experience. In this role, Sander is responsible for a differentiating and consistent employee experience within ING. With almost 20 years of experience in Marketing and Talent Acquisition roles Sander has delivered numerous customer and candidate experiences. As ING is standardizing global HR operations, it is Sander’s responsibility to put the employee at the heart of this transformation and design and create experiences that are personal, easy and smart.

Katherine Brune

Former SVP of Employee Well-Being & Benefits, SunTrust now Truist, Owner, WorkSprout & Future Workplace Fellow

Katherine has 15 years of experience working in the people arena. She is a thought-leader in employee experience and well-being programs. Some of Katherine’s greatest accomplishments include designing and introducing an industry-leading financial well-being program for a top financial institution now sold to hundreds of companies, creating a full-time storyteller job to spread purpose in action, introducing integrated health providers in onsite clinics to address the whole person, unleashing a campaign on mental health services, and leading early-career bankers through a super-charged development program. Before Stitch Fix, she worked at Twitter, as well as companies across India and US, such as Molina Healthcare, PepsiCo, and Infosys Leadership Institute in areas of engagement, analytics, assessments and talent management. She has a Ph.D. and Masters in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University, and a Masters in Organizational Behavior from Delhi University.

Jeremy Eaves

Jeremy Eaves is the Vice President of Human Resources at DaVita Kidney Care. Jeremy has extensive experience in partnering with senior leadership to drive business results. In his previous role as head of employee relations and workplace investigations for the Fortune 500 healthcare organization, he led a team of employee relations advisors and managers responsible for consulting on and investigating all domestic employee relations issues. Jeremy has demonstrated success in aligning human resource initiatives with business strategies and maximizing management potential.

Chrys Ennis

Chrys has spent the past 12 years in the learning and development team at Verizon. She spent three years prior to that working in public education. Her background includes teaching, content development, managing learning and development teams and strategic planning. Chrys recently launched a gamification platform that connects online learning, reinforcement and on-the-job performance into a single hub that allows employees to earn virtual and real rewards for completing trainings and achieving goals. She lives in the Snoqualmie Valley near Seattle and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two giant dogs.

Bill Finegan

Bill Finegan is the executive vice president of North America at Immerse. In his prior roles, Bill was the Vice President of Knowledge Management Solutions at GP Strategies. With over 10 years of eLearning experience, Bill’s focus is on supporting Enterprise Learning Technologies. Bill received his BBA from Loyola University Maryland (formerly Loyola College) and an MBA from the University of Baltimore.

Esther Gallo

Vice President – Strategic Workforce Planning and People Insights, Corporate HR, MasterCard

Esther Gallo leads the People Planning and Insights team in Mastercard, being her areas of focus Strategic Workforce Planning, Future of Work, and advanced analytics. She has worked across multiple industries and supported international companies during her experience as managing consultant in Deloitte, delivering engagements related to strategic and business planning, program management, financial modeling, organizational design, change management, and process reengineering. She has a master’s degree in Business Administration and degree and master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering.

Nicholas Garbis

VP, People Analytics Strategy, One Model, Inc

Nicholas is the VP of People Analytics Strategy at One Model, Inc. Nicholas has 15+ years experience in people analytics & planning. He partners with people analytics teams to help them establish their strategies for deploying analytics and to bring back key insights to the product team. Previously, Nicholas was the Global Head for Strategic Workforce Planning for Allianz, where he built SWP methodology that supports the digital transformation agenda for the business. Prior to joining Allianz, Nicholas worked for General Electric, joining the GE Energy division’s Global Strategy & Planning in a dual role including economic analysis and strategic workforce planning.

Matt Getz

Matthew Getz joined CryoLife in August 2019 as Vice President, Human Resources. Matt brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience in media, banking, and technology industries, and will oversee the company’s global human resources practice and strategy. Prior to joining CryoLife, he served as the Chief Human Resources Officer of Encompass Digital Media, and has held senior human resources roles at SunTrust Bank, Xiocom Wireless, Earthlink and BlessingWhite. Matt holds an MBA with a concentration in organizational management and international business from Georgia State University and a BBA in accounting from Mercer University.

Brent Lessard

A mechanical engineer with experience in intelligent building monitoring and management systems, Brent Lessard is co-founder and Project Manager at rLoop, a SpaceX award winning, globally distributed and crowd sourced organization with over 1,300 members from more than 50 countries. Brent also serves as Advisor to the President of Durham College for the School of Science and Engineering, and was recently awarded the Ontario Premier’s Award for his work within the local community as well as rLoop.

Sara Ley

Digital Learning Strategist, PwC

Sara Ley is a Digital Learning Strategist for PwC with over 18 years’ experience delivering global solutions across Technology, Industrial, Aviation, Healthcare, Transportation, Energy and Finance Industries. Most recently, Sara was the Digital Learning and Technology Leader for General Electric’s Crotonville Learning and Development Organization. Sara led the implementation of GE’s BrilliantYOU™ Digital Strategy and development of a next-generation learning experience platform and community. Prior to GE, Sara held positions at UBS and HP in consulting roles where she led transformational change initiatives, facilitated executive integration workshops and managed large-scale development projects. Sara is an eminent speaker at various conferences, including SXSW, IMPACT, Masie, and CLO Symposium, and has received three Brandon Hall Award Gold Awards and Excellence Award by ATD.

Obed Louissaint

VP, Talent, Watson Health & Employee Experience, IBM

Obed Louissaint, VP, Talent, Watson Health & Employee Experience. Obed is focused on IBM’s investments in several of the fastest-growing and most strategic parts of the information technology market. He currently serves as the Human Capital Insights Director at Medtronic and previously held positions at IBM, Home Depot, United Airlines, and Century Link. Chris earned doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University.

Disha Mehtani

Vice President, Human Resources, View, Inc

Disha is an accomplished professional who has embraced change and risk in her career. After receiving her Ph.D. in Material Science with a specialization in polymer science and nanotechnology, she joined View to help bring disruptive innovation to the real estate market. Now, as the first female executive at View, she is bringing her model of the innovation mindset to Human Resources. She is also a contributing author, public speaker, and holds several patents.

Deborah Olson

Principal Benefits Manager, Genentech

Deborah Olson is the Principal Benefits Manager at Genentech. She leads the Occupational and Non-Occupational Leave and Disability programs as well as the Mental Health Initiative across Genentech and Roche in the United States, supporting more than 24,000 employees. Olson has international experience across Canada and the United States, and prior to working at Genentech, she founded a consulting firm that incorporated a holistic approach to ability management and drew on that experience to support teams within Kaiser Permanente and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.

Rune Overgaard Jensen

Co-founder & CEO, VitaSim

Rune is the Co-founder and CEO of VitaSim. His vision at VitaSim is to make it easy for anyone to utilize immersive virtual reality (VR) as a tool for education and training. Many companies and institutions struggle with the implementation of VR, and good educational content is still lacking. To change this VitaSim is providing a software package that allow users to produce, edit and distribute VR-based educational content without writing a single line of code.

Jeff Rieb

Jeff Rieb is the Senior Director of People Operations & Innovation at DaVita, where he is responsible for leading the People Insights & Analytics team, Project Management Office, and HR Technology functions for DaVita People Services. Chase Rowbotham

Head of People Analytics, Genentech

Chase Rowbotham is the Head of People Analytics at Genentech. In his time at Genentech, the people analytics function has nearly tripled and has had real impact on the business. As head of people analytics, Chase reports directly to the CHRO, and his team includes two primary functions, Data Science & Engineering, which maintains the people analytics infrastructure, and Strategy & Solutions, which plays the front-end role on the team and leads project scoping, prioritization, stakeholder management, project management, and ensures that product strategy is both effectively communicated and realized. Prior to working at Genentech, Chase worked at McKesson, Intuit, and M&T Bank.

Dan Rowley

Vice President, Talent Management & Development, The Freeman Company

Dan Rowley is currently the Senior Director, Operations Talent Management at Hilton. Prior to working at Hilton he served as the Vice President, Talent Development / Talent Management at The Freeman Company where he built a learning infrastructure and programs to drive business results and support organizational strategy. His contributions included redesigning leadership curriculum to build a cadre of leaders to support organizational and business transformation, assessing current programs and launching new programs with a focus on alignment to core values and competencies, and supporting sales executives as an HR Business Partner focused on top talent identification and retention, OD, and change leadership/organizational restructuring.

Dr. Shatté completed his undergraduate education in his native Australia, with degrees in Philosophy and Psychology, and completed his Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he worked on the first programs in positive psychology.

Anshul Sheopuri

VP & CTO, AI & Offering Strategy, IBM

Anshul Sheopuri is the VP & CTO, AI & Offering Strategy, at IBM. In this capacity, he is re-inventing people data and offerings via AI. He is a digital transformation leader who drives business outcomes via changes to process, platforms, products, and people. Carolyn Shuster

Overall responsibilities include hiring, developing & retaining team of Account Executive and Executive Recruiters, managing financials for the branch (P&L), manage own desk & book of business by securing new retail and contract business, penetrate existing accounts and recruiting professionals to meet the staffing needs of our clients.
