What You’ll Learn:
In this course, we will help you examine and rethink how to supercharge your employee experiences.
The Current State:
Employee experience is the sum total of all the experiences an employee has with their employer over the duration of their relationship with the employer. Every moment that an employee experiences– whether it’s handled by IT, HR, Marketing, or Real Estate– must be a “consumer-grade” experience, one that is seamless, personalized and available 24X7.
Employee experience is gaining in importance as reports from the World Economic Forum and Business Round Table acknowledge that organizations are entering a new era in which the purpose of the corporation is evolving from the shareholder-centric model to one that benefits all stakeholders. In addition, as remote workers grow in numbers, there is an accelerating need to create compelling digital and physical workspaces that provide organizational trust and resiliency for all workers.
Increased employee engagement is just one outcome of a creating a compelling employee experience. Employee experience is becoming increasingly more important as HR, IT, Marketing, and Real Estate teams are challenged to design a holistic employee experience to better understand:
Intrinsic needs of key employee personas
Levers of employee experience: cultural, digital physical, and emotional
Explosion of new technologies– virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality
Demographic shifts and the evolving needs of full-time, remote, and gig workers
Increasing use of culture as a value creation tool to attract and retain talent
As a result, many HR, IT, Marketing, and Real Estate practitioners and their teams are rethinking their strategy and organizational design through the lenses of creating a holistic employee experience, transforming their functions by forming close partnerships between HR, Learning, IT, Marketing, and Real Estate and taking a leadership stand on the growing importance of employee wellbeing to attract and retain talent.
