Heather Whiteman, PhD is an expert in People Analytics, Talent Transformation and the Future of Work. She has held executive roles leading People Analytics, Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR Operations and HR Technology at companies like General Electric (GE), Pacific Gas & Electric, and more through consulting partnerships. Heather teaches People Analytics at UC Berkeley Haas and UC Berkeley Extension. She has a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a PhD in Human Capital Management.

This Course Features Five Modules:
Each module takes about one hour of time which includes viewing videos, reading relevant articles, answering questions, contributing to the course and collaborating with other learners.
The Five Modules include:
Module 1: Explore How to Use People Analytics to Solve Business Problems
Learn to identify and define business problems in terms of how they could be addressed or better understood through the application of people analytics.
Module 2: Design People Analytics Approach to Solving Business Problems
Create sound people analytics hypotheses and approaches to address critical business issues and align to business priorities. Learn the basics about how to design, test and create a people analytics approach.
Module 3: Learn How to Understand Data and Use It to Solve Business Problems
Gain skills to help you interpret and use people analytics outcomes. Identify common pitfalls and learn how to identify and apply people analytics outcomes in your day-to-day.
Module 4: Understand How to Use Data Storytelling to Inspire Action Through People Analytics
Present, translate and inspire others to action through the use of people analytics. This module will show you how to tell a story with people analytics that will inspire action in your organization.
Module 5: Prepare Your People Analytics Action Plan
Prepare your personal people analytics strategy plan to address a key issue in your organization through the power of people analytics.
