Chief Executive Officer at Area9 Lyceum

Dr. Christensen is recognized worldwide as an expert in learning technology. He has pioneered adaptive learning, data-driven content development, simulation and debriefing technologies. He is responsible for the strategy of Area9 Group’s businesses, that span from purpose-built platforms for optimization of business processes for large corporations over digital product design to corporate training based on intelligent, adaptive learning. His primary focus is Area9 Lyceum which in January 2018 assembled all the group’s educational investments and technologies, and set out to create the 4th generation adaptive learning platform and the first generation supporting four-dimensional education.

Lead Faculty: Lisa Cannata

Chief Learning Officer, Area9 North America

Lisa Cannata, Chief Learning Officer, Area9 North America, has 20 years of experience leading learning and development teams. She worked for companies in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, and hospitality industry. Lisa got her career start in training and development at Walt Disney World in multiple training and HR roles. She has held Chief Learning and Head of Learning positions in healthcare. Lisa holds a B.S. in Communications from Florida State University and an M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. She holds several certifications, including Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and Professional in Human Resources.
